At a loss...how to tighten faucet handle

I'm feeling really stupid at this point. Hot side handle is loose.
No cap, no set screw. Tried unscrewing barrel but it just spins.
Please help.

Trying unscrewing or tighten the dome just under the handle

If the faucet is loose , remove the lift rod from the spout to see if there is a allen type screw to retighten.

Tried turning the dome to no avail.
Both directions - it just spins - doesn't loosen or tighten.
It's the handle that's loose.

That is the faucet and the dome needs to turn. The problem is after time the tend to seize up. (never did like that setup) Try soaking it in white vinegar or CLR. I have had to use a strap wrench on some.
