Hi,

I have a 12 inch flex connector for my toilet that is just about an inch too short. The next length that is sold appears to be 16 inches and that is too long. Is there any 1 or 2 inch extender or coupler that I can use to make my 12 inch connector the right length?

I can just barely get the the 12 inch connector on and it is tugging hard on the pipe coming up through the floor. I believe this could in time cause the connector to break or ruin the plastic threads where the connector attaches to the toilet tank.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I always purchase a toilet supply line a little longer than necessary, and loop the excess before conecting it. This way, there is plenty of excess in the event it is hit with the mop.

havasu is correct, your best bet is the next size up, a 16" flex tube. I have never seen anything to extend a toilet supply.

I went thru the same exact situation yesterday. The 9 inch barely reached and I opted for the 12 inch. It isn't long enough for a loop and it is just long enough for a curve. look at my other post and you will see how my sink is, although the toilet one doesn't curve as much. HD tells me for the regular SS line, the shortest is 12 inches.

cl206, you may have noticed but nobody at HD ever has any training or knowledge :p

Standard toilet lines are 6, 9, 12, 16, 20 and 30 inches. 6, 9, and 30 inch models are a bit harder to find, but they are still a standard item.

They had the toilet one at 9 inches but for regular faucet they told me 12 in is the shortest. I would have loved to have a six or 9 for my lavatory faucet. Oh well!
