Anyone ID this shower faucet and cartridge?

Circa 2000/2001, bought at Home Depot. There is no brand name on outside but when I removed handle I see the name Moen and a number 100575 on the handle plate (hope that's what it's called). I want to know because of an issue that has arisen. Namely, the water coming out is cooler than it used to be at same setting. We need to turn hot water on more than before to make the shower as comfortable as before. Some suggestions for the problem include looking at the flow/positemp settings, which I did, but how would they change being hidden under a handle? Took it apart anyway to check for damaged parts and I couldn't any damage. Included a few pics to help with diagnosis. Thanks

Edit: Just wanted to add that the hot water heater has been replaced in the last 4/5 years and hot water is coming out of all other faucets in the house.

It is Moen. Cartridge is 1222.
Try turning the heat setting on WH up. No real settings on the shower valve.

The water heater was my first guess but water is at 130 F at all other faucets. I have to believe the cartridge is the culprit, especially after 23/24 years. Thanks for the information. I will give Moen a shout and see if they can send out a cartridge.

I recently had to replace my Moen Positemp valve due to the fact that the hot water inlet side of the valve had become clogged with stuff that came from somewhere. Although I was able to restore proper operation by removing and cleaning the old valve and valve body into which the cartridge is fitted, I replaced it with a new one just "because".

Thanks BlueSkyHigh! Just got notice the new cartridge has been delivered so that'll be going in today. I had a kitchen faucet clog on me around the same time I had to replace the dip tube in my water heater. That is most likely the source of the clog on the hot water side. All kinds of plastic when I flushed the tank which matched up with what was stuck inside the faucet.

Excellent. If you can, make sure that you (and an assistant) turn on the water without the cartridge installed to "blow" the valve body clean. Also, make sure that the plastic parts of the valve have a generous coating of silicone grease on them so that the operation is silky smooth once you get it back together.

Good observation! I do have them. I wanted to take a pic without them in place to show the cartridge a bit better.
