I'm hoping for some new ideas about what the problem maybe:
Ammonia smell coming from laundry closet in basement. (My husband argues its more like sulphur. Near the same??) Plumber checked wall vent- was fine, checked floor drain- was fine (had water). Smell seems to come waves every few hours. Was an old house completely gutted in 2007. Senior plumber coming out tomorrow morning to investigate more. There is a washroom above laundry as well. But no smell coming from it. Thanks for your insights!
