Amer. Std. Touchless toilet groaning/phantom flush

Hey folks,

I've got an American standat 4000 series toilet with the touchless flush sensor..

Had it for 2 years before this groaning/vibrating and phantom flushing started happening..

I've been troubleshooting this thing for months... I just broke down and replaced a whole slew of parts... only to have the issue continue.

So it happens once ever hour , some groaning followed by a weak flush into the basin...

I have replaced the flush valve assembly, gasket/seal from top tank and basin, hose assembly from touchless sensor abd flush valve..

I have a new refill valve but it's a different size than my main water intake so need a new water line before I can replace it.

Any chance the fill valve failings causing this?
I am at a loss...

Calling a pro in if I can't kick this thing into shape.

Yea that's how I got the parts list.. started with the flush valve, then the whole flush assembly... I picked up the refill assembly as the last non porcelain part to replace..
