Adding drain line

I'm adding a shower to my bathroom. I'd like to connect the shower waste pipe to the existing tub drain pipe. Can I use a wye connection?

I see no vents unless the main stack above this vents to the roof

Yes there's a separate "dry" vent stack. I didn't draw the vent stack to avoid complicating the diagram. I'll add the vent stack to the diagram and repost.
