Hello all I’m looking for your input. We purchased a new home last year and I’m not sure why I didn’t ask about this before settlement. I have theee drain stacks coming down into the basement and go into the floor to main soil line that leads to the septic. Som reason the middle stack was cut and redirected through the separating wall and tied into the first stack on the line. Any idea as to why the previous owners would have done this? I’ve attached two pictures. I was thinking a bad trap underground at the middle line but wouldn’t this effect the whole main soil line? I figured I’d post here before getting someone to send a camera in there. Thanks For your input in advance.

Not likely to be a trap under that line but it may have collapsed and they just bypassed.
