Hello all Im looking for your input. We purchased a new home last year and Im not sure why I didnt ask about this before settlement. I have theee drain stacks coming down into the basement and go into the floor to main soil line that leads to the septic. Som reason the middle stack was cut and redirected through the separating wall and tied into the first stack on the line. Any idea as to why the previous owners would have done this? Ive attached two pictures. I was thinking a bad trap underground at the middle line but wouldnt this effect the whole main soil line? I figured Id post here before getting someone to send a camera in there. Thanks For your input in advance.
