Hi all.

What is the reason for the lack (I can't find any) manifolds with 3/4 pex outlets?

I have 3/4 copper that I want to attach a manifold to that will feed two shower heads (rain shower head and a wand/fixed shower head combo) and two vanities. So my thoughts were to run two 3/4 pex lines off the manifold...1 for each shower head and then split the last 3/4 stepping down to two 1/2 pex lines for the vanities.

The shower mixers are set for 3/4 copper and it's what the manufacturer calls for.
My thoughts were 3/4 pex, with it's smaller inside diameter, would be sufficient for the shower heads. My concern is that if I use a manifold with 1/2 outlets, the 1/2 pex to the shower heads, with it's smaller inside diameter would not be sufficient to really power the rain head shower.

Am I wrong in my thinking?...I must be since there appear to be no 3/4 outlet manifolds out there. Do I just run copper to both shower heads? Is a manifold with 1/2 outlets sufficient to power a mixer that calls for 3/4"?

The shower will be about 10' from the manifold.

I make my 3/4 manifolds. 1'' pipe and some 3/4 tees

solder it up, good to go

And that was my thought as well...just thought I must be missing something if there are no off the shelf products with 3/4" outlets...everything is 1/2 outlets.
