Hello, I'm renovating our bathroom and have a question regarding the stub out for our toilet supply. They used 3/8" copper, but I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking at. Does the old shutoff appear to be a sweat connection? It appears they did something over to the right as well.
Would the best course of action be cutting it behind the old shutoff and using a 3/8" compression inlet shutoff valve?
I could sweat as well if I had to. But finding a 3/8" - 3/8" valve proved difficult.
Thanks in advance. See photo.
Ps- we had a guy tile and I wasn't thrilled that he notched the tile instead of drilling it.
