Hi,

I have a single sink in my bathroom but there is a stub out drain for adding a second sink. The drain pipes are galvanized steel and I want to replace it with pvc. The two sinks tie in together with a tee then run to the stack that is about a foot away. My question is can I run a WYE fitting off the sink to the right and run the other sink into that same WYE then run the new drain to a sanitary tee in the stack?

If you are opening the wall to run new piping from the sinks to the stack , why not keep the drains from both sinks inside the wall ?
