1930 cast iron kitchen sink needs repair under the sink and the sink drain has no basket. 14 inch vertical pipe detached from sink drain

I need parts. a 14 inch vertical metal pipe and I guess a steel wire brush cleaning on the threads to the 94 year old sink drain. Is it even possible to remove metal drain from the cast iron sink? Do they even make them? To the experienced plumber, if I get a new 14 inch vertical pipe can I attach it and fix this myself. I'm 74 and have some disabilities. I'm just getting over a torn ALC on right knee and SARS covid-2. I haven't been feeling well. Please tell me this is an easy fix.

I think you should call. professional LIC/insured plumber, because this could be somewhat physical and a little out of your scope as you described disabilities and other health issues

Geofd is RIGHT, you need to just pay a PRO to fix that issue......it looks like the drain basket, at least, will need to be replaced.......
