I am replacing an electric water heater in Florida. It is a "short" one that's in a little cabinet outside.

I took the power cord off the old one, and it got hauled off. About the time I started the search for a new one, it occurred to me that it is a 110 power cord plugged into a 110 outlet. There is no 220 there.

So, now I don't have the old water heater to see what brand/model it was, and I'm not finding any 110 ones except 20 gal, like for mobile homes. We need at least 30 gal.

Help!!!!

Had a similar situation with a WH at a summer cottage my mother had at the shore many years ago. Due to space limitations I had to with a 20. If you go with a 30, check the dimensions to be sure it will fit in that cabinet.

google, amazon,ebay,GE,whirlpool,kehmore,ammana

type, 30 gallon waterheater 120volt press enter

I did that before posting & found a discontinued one at a Sears store not far away on Searsoutlet.com. I purchased it and then the store had already sold it. The order got canceled, but I have not been refunded my $$$ yet.

Googling more, another current model one showed up at Sears, and a store an hour a away had one. It cost a bit more, but I've got it.

I should have tried craigslist, too.

Thanks.
