I'm having trouble getting a radiator to circulate properly on a domestic 1 pipe system. It has never worked correctly in 10 years but I'm determined to fix it. Any tips?

If it has worked and is no longer working there could be one of two reasons for it not to work. Air in the system or the valve on the radiator is not opening. If it has never worked there could be a problem with the way it's piped.

System is full and the valves work ok. I think it's a piping issue.

I can't access all he pipe work to the rad.

The flow and return come from a 22mm pipe and I have replaced existing 15mm pipe runs for 22mm. Slight improvement but still not circulating properly.

Well this is a shot in the dark without being able to inspect the system, but is there a strong enough pump? If the pump is undersized or worse failed you will not get a good circulation.

Did it ever work? There are couple of things that shouldn't be done with the piping on a one pipe system. All lines must pitch up to the radiator. The tee's for each radiator must be at least 18" apart and 18" from any turns in the main. In some cases when there is a long run from the main to the radiator two mono-flo tees are needed. Without being able to see it it's hard to determine what the problem is.
