Will plumbing classes help or is it useless?

I live close to a community college and they offer a maintanence technology degree, they offer 2 classes in plumbing....

The first one is basic plumbing which meets for 5 hours a day for 8 weeks.

The next one is commercial plumbing which meets for 5 hours a day for 8 weeks



Do you think these classes would help my plumbing skills or are they a waste of time?

I have been to 4 years of night school for my plumbing apprenticeships.

While I credit this with making me a much better plumber, it wouldn't have been worth all that much to me without the on the job experience I was getting. Mainly it helped me with plumbing theory, mathematical equations useful for a plumber, & understanding code. The hands on is where you learn how to apply all of that.
