When toilets were simple...an original 4 holer!

During the 4th of July holiday, we took a trip into the backwoods North of Grass Valley, California, and came across an original old school house from the mid-1800's. In the back of the school house, I came across this 4 holer toilet. Ah, the simpler times! Thought I'd share this with you all!

Looks like carpenters were in short short supply as well as plumbing. There should be a hand rail over a couple of them holes.

And the worst thing is that it seemed to be a unisex bathroom to boot!

Phish, you just don't understand the practicality of that 4 holer. After dinner, me and the Mrs, and you and the Mrs could all join each other for a nice after dinner drink while doing our business. Wouldn't that be quaint!

I'd prefer to shout down the hallways of a 4 bathroom house, with fartfans and AC. Fartfans are real important, living with Mrs. Phish.
