Hey everyone...first time posting here. I've researched my problem, think I know the reason, but unsure of the fix.

My cold water line is plumbed in series...which is normal i guess. However, the main line enters the basement in one corner and travels 80 feet to my kitchen. The fridge, dishwasher, and sink are suffering. Rough draw below.

I'd like to have good pressure because my ice cubes are small and the dish washer takes a while to fill.

How do I fix this? Can I branch off the main, travel the 20 ft with copper, and cap somewhere after all the appliances are fed?

Signed, My ice cubes melt too fast,

Jason

How is the ice maker feed? Is it through a saddle valve? If so that may be your problem with the ice maker. If you have galvanized pipe it may be time to replace it.
As far as the dishwasher that is feed with hot water only.

Yes...dishwasher is hot, suffers from the same pressure problems though. The water line is through a saddle valve. I thought that might be the problem, but I've ran them through saddle valves before and never had any issues. I figured since these items are at the end of the line...they probably lose pressure.

The hot water is an issue in itself.
