water-powered sump pumps

I need information on how good are the new-type water-powered sump pumps. are they really better than sump pumps with an auxiliary battery operated pump?

First off you do know that you need city water for them to work.
From what I have seen posted about them is they use twice as much city water as they pump.

Here's a link that may give more info on the Liberty SJ10a sumpjet. It says that it can remove 2 gallons per one gallon of city water. Liberty Pumps : Back Up Sump Pumps
