Water main coming in through concrete pad

Hi, I am thinking about moving the water main in my garage for two reasons. The first is that the copper is coming into the house through the concrete pad in the garage and I have heard this is bad; second I am finishing the garage and It is currently in a strange place(mid exterior wall), the pipe runs to the ceiling and in the direction that I would like to move it so that is the easy part. My question is what would I have to do to make this right and how much would it cost to have a plumber do it? I would not be afraid to do this on my own if it would not require any serious foundation adjustments. I am looking to move it about ten feet down the wall of the garage. Not sure what your trying to do. Move the main that enters through the floor or move the line after the filter.
