Hi all,
So I recently moved into a new home and I am having an issue.
The water at my kitchen sink is normal temperature (gets very hot). Once in the bathroom, the temperature at the kitchen sink gets hot, but not as hot as the kitchen. The shower is where the temperature is coldest. I will occasionally lose hot water altogether at the bathroom.
I had a water heater company come out and check out the heater, they said everything is fine and the water heater is fairly new (2-3 years old, 50gal). They said the shower valve might be mixing and I had a plumber come out. Plumber changed the valve cartridge in the shower but the problem persists.
Plumber was stumped and could not come up with an explanation.
Anyone here have any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
