Hello guys and gals,
Our water heater tripped the breaker while I was gone earlier today. When I got back to the house I turned the breaker back on(about 20 minutes ago). We are getting hot water now and the breaker has not tripped again so far.
I know breakers can trip for various reasons. Am I fairly safe to assume that if the breaker does not trip again I shouldn't worry?
If it does trip again, I know there is probably a problem with the water heater, but I am going on the assumption that a lot of things could have tripped that breaker. It is not like it does not happen time to time.
We do not have the money to call an electrician or plumber. After bills and groceries this month we have a grand total of $9 to spend, lol.
If it is most likely life threatening, i have no clue what we will do, but at least I would be informed.
Thanks.
