So, My wife and I are converting our spare bedroom into a laundry room/den. We would like to move our water heater into that room along with the washer and dryer. My question is this: Right now, all the pumbing is on an interior wall, what we would like to do, is move the water heater and the washer/dryer hookups to a parallel wall aprox 12ft away. I've been contiplating how I should route the water lines to hook up to the existing plumbing. I.E. should I go up the wall and over into my attic to meet up with the other plumbing, or, should i go down and under into the crawl space to meet up with it, or, are my thoughts flawed...any help is appreciated.

I personally would try to utilize the crawl space for the plumbing movement but my biggest concern is your drain pipes and air vents to them. This might be a big undertaking unless you get some professional assistance, and knowledge of your local codes.
