Our 75G electric Bradford White tank is almost 9yrs old and I found a big puddle. Not much clearance from the floor but I did see dripping from couple spots. Water on the floor had rusty sediments. So I turned it off and immediately emptied out the tank. FYI all these years, I've drained the tank just once which was about 6yrs ago. I called a plumber who said he can come out in 2 days.

In the meantime, I put a pan under directing it to a drain and filled up and ran it again. To my shock, it's been 3 days but it's not leaking anymore. What do you think is the cause and is this something repairable or do I need to get it replaced?
