Hello, I am buying a house and recently had an inspection. The inspector stated in his report that The sewage ejector plumbing vent pipe terminated inside the laundry room and that vent pipes should terminate at the exterior through the roof or to existing vent pipes, sewer gasses could vent into house. The seller is stating it's to code and not a problem and doesn't need to be remedied. I've attached a picture for reference. Thanks!vent pipe.jpg

The seller is wrong. PERIOD.
The only vent in a plumbing system that can vent indoors is a flow control device vent coming off a grease interceptor.

Is another vent that it could be connected to.??????
I just went on the Studor website turn out the make quite a few different vent fitting
One of then ISrated for lift stations
Is it legal in your state I don’t know
