Hello fellow experts,

I have a big issue presented to me. I live in a condo, and my tiolet/piping within the walls won't stop making a really loud hissing and horn sound. I have no idea where is it coming from. The sounds is produced no matter if I am using the unit or not, and the timing of the sound varies throughout the day(All night long as well). It seems to happen randomly and the duration of the sound varies as well, some last for a second and some will last over 5 seconds. Please advise and help me to solve this issue as this sound has been going on for a several months.

Attached is a clip of the sound that comes from my toilet/wall.

Thank you very much!

Sounds like your flapper is leaking from your toilet causing the tank of the toilet to refill. Take a look inside the toilet tank and report back.

I think you are correct regarding the flapper, but there are still sounds coming from the wall that is not caused by the flapper. The sound in the video is coming from the wall, you can feel the wall rumbling.

Frodo : I will give that a try

Havasu: Sorry, I don't know a way to isolate the sound I am hearing. But it is for certain that the sound is coming from the wall and you can feel the vibration when you put your hand on the wall.
