Hi
ive recently moved into a new home and wanted a shower but being strapped for cash could not afford to have one fitted, so I took it upon myself to fit a mixer tap and shower as it was easier.
So I changed the tap, I used PTFE tape and tightened the bolts as best I could ( obviously not tight enough! but now the hot water pipe is leaking, so i used epoxy putty around the bolt to try and stop the leak but it is still leaking.
I now need help to try and remove the hardened putty and get someone to remove the bolt or tighten it better than I can? Can anyone please give me some advice on how to do this easily without having an expensive bill to get someone out to do this for me.
