Hello All,
I have a Burnham Revolution gas boiler (about 10 years old) with a Honeywell L8148E aquastat relay. I have 5 different zones, one of them is indirect water heater (SuperStor Ultra Indirect Water Heater). About a month ago I start hearing aquastat making clicking noises, I new right away that the relay is going bad. In a couple of days my boiler went silent, no more hot water in the house. I bought a replacement Honeywell L8148E relay, installed it, unfortunately the boiler did not start running, so I'm still without hot water. After watching a step by step video on L8148E (https://shorturl.at/Nj7bq), I checked the voltage on my setup. When I turn the boiler on, my TV does not get power, so the circuit is obviously open. The water heater has two controls - one of them is a Taco zone valve and the other some sort of Honeywell thermostat which is installed directly on the water heater. If I jump TV - T, the boiler kicks in and after a while heats up water. If I remove a jumper from TV - T, but put a Taco zone valve in override mode and or jump the water heater thermostat connectors, the boiler won't start. I understand that something is open but can't figure out what exactly that might be. Any advise would be helpful.
Thank you!
