MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

I'm really confused : I need a 3-WAYS VALVE to connect a bidet sprayer on the toilet and I don't understand the disparity on coupling sizes recommended.
Some say "for American toilets you need a 1/2", 7/8", 7/8" valve", others say "No, you need a 1/2", 15/16", 15/16" valve", to which I'm driven to ask "In coupling, is it 7/8" the same as 15/16"?", and I get answers like from someone saying "Yes it is!" while some others say "No it isn't!"..:(

Is there any difference between the two coupling sizes (1/2"-7/8"-7/8" and 1/2"-15/16"-15/16") when it comes to retrofit a toilet tank with a bidet sprayer?

Which one of the above is the STANDARD FIT FOR AMERICAN TOILETS?
Thanks!:)
