Toilet question

I see a space from the bolt to my toilet. Is this OK or do I need to fix this?

Space in there is normal.

Like breplum said above, if it is not vertical space and the bolt is not loose that horizontal gap is common.

You’re missing the bottom piece of the China cap. It allows you to cover the hole and holds the cap on
