When I flush my Mansfield toilet there is one big bubble that comes out of the smaller hole before the water goes down the drain. I can feel the "burp" under the floor. Solids and toilet tissue will clog if I don't hold down the lever. Any ideas on a fix? I dumped a five gallon bucket of water down and all seemed okay. Toilet came with house built in 2007. I have a snake but not a toilet auger. I'm ready to pull the toilet, just too lazy.

Sounds like air in the bowl. When you flush it pushes the air out ahead of the water from the tank.

The poor flush could be the water level in the tank not set correct or the refill of the bowl is not sufficient.
You could have a water delivery problem from the tank.

If it flushed great with a bucket then augering won’t help.

Or it could be that Mansfield is just one of the worst flushing toilets ever made in my opinion. Especially the builders model with the flush tower thingy..,,,.

Such a dog......

I suggest giving it to someone you don’t like and buying a new toilet.

I’d try replacing the guts with a FluidMaster kit, before I trashed the toilet.

Just had a thought: Is the bleed down line going into the overflow tube, to refill the bowl upto the sill?

I’ve never heard the refill tube called a bleed down line or the max water spot (trap prime)called the “ sill “

I tell you what though..,,...I’m going to start.
