If the code don't allow to do the air test in plastic pipe but the code says that you need to have a 10 foot head to water test and I don't have 10 foot water head so how i'm suppose donthe teat in order to past the inspection???

install a 10' head, at the upper most terminal

get a ladder and a bucket of water. they dont want to hear excuses, they want to see water


i have had to fill rough ins up via a 5 gallon bucket, toted water a mile to do it. [in a truck]

I test under upc. 5 psi air, on a 10 pound gage
with a set dial.

But the code says you can't do air test in plastic pipe and in order to a water test i need to have a 10 foot in the highest point and in the proyect that i'm doing I don't have that height cause is a basement so do i do???? Can i do the air test???
