Tap Handle Removal.

Hi All,
Refering to the attached image, can anybody offer some advice on how to remove these shower tap handles? Usually there is a small cap to remove and access a nut or similar but there is no such option with these.

I havent ever seen handles like that before. Have you looked for any type of set screw anywhere on the sides or some sort of locking clip on the backside of handle? Or possibley do that chrome escustion peices against the wall just unthread of the valve body? Just some things I would check. But again not familiar with those style handles.
