Tankless water heaters

Im going to set up a tankless water heater in my home, and wanted to know the estimated amount of distance which should be between the opening of the water heater and the PEX piping.

That is a question for the manufacturer of the PEX tubing.

Personally, I always try to get 3'-4' of copper before any kind of plastic tubing with a tankless.

If I am limited with space and cant fit 3'-4' of copper what are my other options?

Can't fit copper? Nonsense. If you can't fit copper, how are you going to fit pex?

i know that PEX is flexible, as to copper is not...... Can i bend copper to fit the space?

Are you trying to avoid having to solder, is that why the pex route.

3/4" pex is somewhat flexible. You arent going to bend a hard elbow into it without fittings, its not a garden hose.

If theres not enough room to solder, chances are theres not enough room to get your crimp tool in place either.

I found an alternative im going to make holes in my wall and run copper through it.
