Tankless never descaled in 4 years.

Hello.

I moved into my wife's home and she was never told by the plumber to descale the Noritz tankless hot water heater. I noticed there is small leak somewhere that's maybe a drop every week or few. T'was installed in 2013.

Should I descale it gradually over a few months? I have a feeling that if I descale it all, the leak might get bigger. Any advice?
