Tankless Hot Water Heater Fail???

2 year old home....hot water heater line burst flooding the home. The clear plastic line below the compression fitting is where it burst.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Is that pressure rated tubing. I did some work on a house that had tubing to ice maker burst. The pipe was miss marked. It was not rated for pressure when above a certain ambient temperature.

I don't believe that line is rated for hot water

Did the tubing come with an install kit for the heater or is it something you picked up at the store?

you guys are good!! i did some checking....the kit comes with copper tubing, silicone tubing and....clear plastic air-vent tubing!!! installation error!!!
