Thanks for this forum.
I have a RedRing Powerstream Pro Tankless Water Heater..Electric. Model RP27PT. The house has no gas.
It was installed when the house was built in 2005. I've owned the house for 4 years now and I know it's never been flushed. At this point I'll just have it replaced.
It's runs off 6 - 40 amp breakers and looks to be grouped as 3 so maybe it's 3 double pole 40 amp breakers.
Any way,
should a local plumber be able to look at it and make recommendation on a replacement? I also want to have flush fitting installed and I'm sure there are more efficient models these days. I really don't want a "just match the numbers". It only two in the house but if I sell later one in life I want it to NOT be an issue.
I could buy one and have someone install but rather have someone that has installed/maintained this type of system. Guessing it shouldn't be more the $1500 completed. The water heater is easily accessible
Thanks for any replies.
