Hi Everyone,
I need to replace a Takagi TM-1 indoor water heater with a TK-510U-I.
The old TM-1 has a remote control (wired) unit, model RE30.
My question is whether I can use the existing control pad rather than buying the recommended pad TM-RE42. Of course, Takagi technical support will not commit to an answer either way.
Of course, once the heater is installed, connecting the old pad will answer this question. But, I was hoping to come across someone with a similar experience.
Thanks.
