Hello! Newbie here! Thanks in advance for your advice. I'm pretty handy and have done some basic plumbing and fix it projects with the help of Google, YouTube, and customer service techs.
For the life of me I can't pull out the shower diverter, so only the tub faucet works; the shower does not work. The diverter stem unscrews, but the hole it fits in is tiny, and I can't find any screws anywhere around the plate or around the single faucet handle that would allow the removal of the base plate.
I've used Google lens and can't identify this brand of shower fixture. The tub brand is Kohler, but I don't assume that means the shower is the same. It looks quite specialized.
Is there a cap on the handle that pries off and leads to a screw? If so, what's the best way to do that? It has that green residue stuck around it.
Does the base plate for the faucet get pried away from the wall, or will I find more screws within the handle to release it away from the stone tiles?
I'd like to avoid breaking the tiles. On the other side of the wall is the other bathroom shower, also encased with stone tiles.
Can you help me either do this on my own, or be informed enough to be able to communicate about the situation with a plumber?

Thank you!
