I installed a water pressure regulator about 2 years ago and set it at 52 PSI. Everything works great. About a year ago, I started to notice we have a flow issue. It seems I am not getting the flow (volume of water I used to get), though the pressure holds pretty steadily.

I read somewhere that it is possible that debris are accumulating on the filter screen and I will need to clean it. I checked and it seems the model I have does not have screen cleaning access. You will have to take apart the bell jar to access all the internals stuff.

My question is if debris/sentiments could be causing the low flow? Would it be better for me to just get a new regulator that has access for cleaning the filter screen?
