Solved: thanks, all! Sillcock valve stem replacement

Hi I have a sillcock valve stem that is beat up and leaks. The whole system is inside a wall in a finished basement but I was able to remove the stem from outside and need to replace it. The stem itself is just over 9.5 inches long and I'm not sure of the manufacturer but have pictures of everything.

Just replace with a frost proof, anti-siphon sillcock, available at Amazon or many hardware stores where freezing is an issue. I live in So Cal and guarantee that our box box store has never seen them.

I think that is a B&K Mueller frostproof sillcock.

The guts have more than one style over the years.

Bring those pictures on your phone, plus the old stem you pulled out, to a plumbing supply house.

They will know what new stem you need.
