ATL,
I have a break in my lawn sprinkler system pvc....It is right up against the valve. There is only about 9" of pipe after the valve, then it tees off.....I see 2 fixes without having to do too much digging..( there is no play in the pipes to put a inline coupler in)

1. Just cut the pipe and replace it with a piece of inline rubber or platic pipe, and secure with hose clamps....or

2. I saw this on a lawn irrigation site....
Interlock INT-234 - 3/4 Inch SNAPPER Coupling Plastic Pipe Repair Kit for sprinkler and irrigation systems.

What do you think....

Inventions of great fortune or folly? If you use it, let us know how it holds up. There could even be a few uses for it in non-pressurized water situations that require repair since there appear to be a variety of fittings available.
