Is it possible/recommended to replace a slant back bathroom faucet with a standard flat faucet? Our bathroom slant back faucet has been repaired several times for leaks -- it's time for a new faucet. We do not care about the vintage look of the sink/faucet and are tired of the minimal distance between the back of the sink and the faucet/water flow. A new faucet with a longer reach would be great but the slant back faucets we have found all maintain the poor vintage design.
