I am fixing the 2nd floor of my house to be an apartment. It has a full bathroom and I now need to build a small kitchen. Can i put the sink on the other side of the wall the shower is in and use the showers plumbing for the sink as well?
Thanks!

Yes you probably can. Do not use the vent for shower drain if it's in that common wall for the for a waste line of the sink.
You will need a 2" waste line or bigger to tie into drain system.
If the shower drain is running down the wall between the shower and the new kitchen use a wye to connect to the stack somewhere below in the 1st floor wall.

come up with some sketches. let's se what you're thinkin'

Hi

Yes, definitely you can execute this procedure, just make sure they run the lines as close to the inside of the wall.
