Is it true you can only share the lav vent for a toilet? Can not use the vent for a washing machine?

Secondly, is it correct that the toilet has to be the last fixture on the branch line and that means it is the HIGHEST up stream?

If so the lav drain has to enter the branch drain directly down stream from the toilet, correct?

And the lav vent should enter the branch drain at a 45 degree angle or more rather than flat or parallel?

Am I on the right track here?

Thanks to all.

no you can not wet a toilet with a washer

no, the does not have to be the last fixture upstream...BUT..it only makes since to lay it out that way.

it is the largest pipe size..so the sewer can be cleaned out by putting it there.see my terrible drawing

the lav has to inter down stream if its the vent, the base of the vent must be wahed, can not be a dry vent

the vent can inter as long as the opening is above the flow line. a 22.5 is legal

Thank you.

Your drawing on the left side looks as if the tub would be the main vent source for the toilet and not the lav?

What exactly is bad about the picture on the right, looks very similar to the one on the left?

Thanks again.
