Septic pump runs continuously. Toilet gurgles

My (sump pump?) septic pump has been running for hours. The toilet is gurgling and laundry soap is in the bowl from when we ran the washer.

Thoughts?

Sewer ejector system? if so, it has a float valve or two that control.
You need to either get into taking the lid off to view the float or have a pro help.
Don't flush or run water any further until you get it figured out.
You can kill the power while waiting, just no water into that drain section.
