I live in a two floor garden coop. Im on the first floor. A few weeks ago we started hearing a rhythmic knocking noise that sounds like its coming from water meter room below us. The knocking lasts anywhere from a few seconds to 30 minutes. It happens sporadically throughout the day and night. My next door neighbor also hears it.
The knocking does not occur while any water fixtures are running. However, when i run the cold water while the knocking is happening it stops it. BUT once i shut off the cold water the noise starts right back up.
Any information would b greatly appreciated. Im waiting on my maintenance to check it out. This noise is driving me crazy!!
