Remodeling Kitchen - Moving Sink ~15" to the Right

We recently purchased a condo and are in the initial stages of remodeling the kitchen (new cabinets, countertops, flooring, etc). Right now, the sink is in the corner, and we were thinking about possibly moving it to the right. I know that there is some type of maximum trap arm length as well as vent considerations. Before we get too far, I wanted to see if this is something that's doable, or if it would be too difficult to accomplish. The drain connection enters all the way in the back (almost near the corner). The arm length is approximately 16". I'd have to measure more carefully, but I would guess the arm would need to be about 24" to accommodate the new location. There would also need to be some type of elbow to make the turn. I appreciate any input.

You should be fine. I couldn’t imagine another foot 1/2 will not cause any issues.

With the pipe running right through the middle of the cabinet , you might lose some space in the replacement cabinet as the pipe will be in the way, however I presume the pipe would be cut off near the wall, then re-routed so you wont have that problem.

I agree that there will be no issue with the sink adjustment. But, if you move it, I also think you have to replace again your countertops? You should get your countertop marble. I think your kitchen's going to look wonderful with that. Marble countertop cost are really affordable. Good luck with your project!

Marble is a terrible material for a kitchen countertop - it's porous – allowing oils and stains to seep into the stone – and softer than granite or quartz, allowing scratches and chips. My favorite is a quartz product - Silestone.
