Problem connecting old 2" pvc to new...help please

I have what appears to be old schedule 40 2" pvc that runs out through the foundation to a dry well. I needed to add a small piece of new schedule 40 to the end of it to lengthen it a little. My problem is that all the new connectors I am finding have an inside diameter that is too big for the old schedule 40 2" outside diameter. The new connectors fit snugly on a new piece is schedule 40 2" pvc. I either need to find a different connector or find a different glue or method to connect the new connector. Thanks

this is for sch 40, that is what you said have
