Hello All,

I have recently completed a bathroom remodel and am seeing issues with the pressure from the body sprays. Can you tell me if I've setup my balance loop correctly? If not I can open up the wall behind the pipes as that wall isn't tiled.

Also, if it looks correct, can you suggest anything to improve the pressure?

I have a PSI of 67 coming into the house and the run to the bathroom is all 3/4 pex upto the mixing value. The shower heads both appear to have proper pressure, just the body sprays are lacking.

Are the bodysprays output volume even ?

Probably so, but I do not install a tee between each bodyspray. I just make a loop.

If so but you have low volume you may be at max flow through your on/off valve.

Do you think the T's between each spray could be causing an issue? The flow appears to be the same between them now that i looked again, the middle body spray is a different head then the top and bottom so its hard to tell completely. I mean it could be the best ill get possibly and it's not awful, just not as strong as I would've liked.

The tees are restricting the flow but I’m not sure removing them would result in a difference you could see.

IMO you have 4 tees on each group of 3 bodysprays that could be removed.

Total of 8 tees.,

But the majority of your low flow could be the result of maxing out your main control valves GPM rating.

Can you tell me which ones you would remove? I probably won't open the wall unless its a last resort, but for future knowledge?

My hose bib is only giving me about 7gpm which may be part of the problem. I've called the water authority to see if they will come out and up the pressure a little for me.

Don't run b pex. That's not helping.
Don't bullhead tee's unless you know which way the water will favor, that's not helping.

Expansion pex type A if you need to run pex. Or copper even better for flow. The inside is that pex is more like 3/8" after you put a fitting on it.

ah, if i open the wall ill look into switching it. I'm not sure if I used A or B but i'm guessing it was B since you said it was
