Hello.. I am from NW PA and a general handy-person. I currently have a home with a "basement drain" that we've figured out the downstairs washer, downstairs sink, tub, upstairs kitchen sink and dishwasher all go into this "drain". Well, of course, the drain has become clogged somewhere in it's 200' length and I would LIKE to permanently fix this problem. I have the brain child of digging down to the drain (I'm going to say approximately 6-7') putting in a tank, and a sewage pump that then pumps into our septic system as it should be already.
Can this be done? What size pump would I need? Any input?
