Anyone know how to remove this flush valve? I have a one-piece toilet in the house I just bought, can’t find the brand name anywhere, and this valve is leaking. I can’t figure out how to remove it. No screws I can see. Do I need a special tool? I am thinking maybe the tabs in the bottom can be turned? Anyone know a part to replace it? Thanks in advance!

Yes, turn the tabs counterclockwise. You can make a wrench to engage all 4 tabs with a piece of 1.5” pvc, cut four notches in the end of a piece about 2 feet long and use it as a wrench.

Replace with this one. You may need to cut the overflow tube to match your existing one.

All that said, I’d recommend replacing that toilet. Trust me.
